Digital short-circuit current meter Щ41160 (hereinafter the meter) is intended for measuring the single-phase short-circuit current of the phase-zero circuit in 220 V alternating current networks, with a frequency of 50 Hz with a dead-grounded neutral point of the power transformer and a phase shift angle between voltage and current (30 ± 25) °.
The operation of the Щ41160 meter is based on the measurement of the real short-circuit current with a limitation of the short-circuit current duration of no more than 10 ms.
The meter meets the requirements of DSTU IEC 61010-1:2005 “Safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use, Part 1. General requirements” and belongs to protection class I devices.

The meter is powered by an alternating current network with a voltage of (220±22) and a frequency of (500.5) Hz.
The power is no more than 20 V×A.
A single-phase short circuit is carried out through a thyristor and a shunt. The current flow time is determined by the time of the open state of the thyristor. In the event of a short circuit, transient processes occur in the circuit. To eliminate the aperiodic component of the short-circuit current, the measurement is performed in two cycles. During the first stroke, the phase shift angle between the current and voltage during the short circuit is measured, and then a second short circuit is performed at the moment corresponding to the measured phase shift angle.
The meter saves information when disconnected from the network.
The overall dimensions of the meter are 335 mm x 305 mm x 140 mm.
The weight of the meter is not more than 5.3 kg.
The weight of a single set of protective equipment is no more than 1.6 kg.
The time to set up the working mode is no more than 5 minutes.
