The transitional test box KIP-5/25 is designed for connecting three-phase induction and electronic meters, ensuring the disconnection of current circuits and voltage circuits in each phase of the meters when they are replaced, as well as the inclusion of a sample meter for checking without disconnecting the consumption load.
The box has a transparent cover, which allows you to visually control the scheme of its installation without damaging the seal.
The box is intended for installation in closed rooms without aggressive steam, dust and gases, at temperatures from minus 40 °C to plus 55 °C.
Voltage circuit clamps withstand current up to 5 A, current circuits – up to 25 A.
The degree of protection of the box is IP30 according to GOST 14254-96 “Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP code)”.
The insulating parts of the box provide protection against flammability and the spread of fire.
